Book cover design for a non-fiction book about the art of solo travel; developed with the author, Guido Narberhaus, using ephemera and photographs collected on his travels.

Guido’s writing unpack the journey of self discovery one undertakes on long solo travels. During the workshop his aesthetic emerged to be attracted to elements of travel journals with ephemera and hand drawn details, as well as typography reminiscent of vintage school books and instructional guides. The final design reflects this spirit and achieves the aim of being both uniquely memorable and evocative of notes from a solo journey.
